Conscious Connected Breathwork: Grounding and Allowing
Conscious connected breathwork is a simple yet powerful breathing technique that induces an expanded state of consciousness. It allows access to deeper emotions, memories, physical sensations, and insights normally below everyday awareness.
By sustaining a specific breathing rhythm, we create the conditions for your system to release what it's been holding—without forcing or analyzing. The breath becomes a bridge between your conscious mind and the deeper intelligence of your nervous system, allowing natural healing to unfold.
What Happens During a Session?
Session Setup: During a breathwork session, you'll lie down in a comfortable position. I'll gently guide you into the breathing technique, helping you find your rhythm. As you settle in, you can simply let yourself relax and follow the breath.
In Your Body: This breathing shifts your state of consciousness, activates the nervous system, and bypasses usual mental defenses, creating a safe space for suppressed emotions, tensions or memories to surface and be released.
The Journey: Each session is unique; experiences may include waves of emotion (e.g., grief, joy, anger, or peace), vivid imagery or memories, physical sensations as tension releases, or meditative/transcendent states. Whatever arises is exactly what needs to emerge in that moment.
A Safe Container: Throughout the session, I'm there with you, holding space and offering support. The practice is self-directed—your body and psyche guide the process—but you are never alone in the experience.
